In an ‘Custom Shaped’ window, the bottom half of the window is rectangular while the top can be  arch, half-circle, Trapezoid, Isosceles triangle, Pentagon, Quarter round. Custom shaped windows bring a softness to a room and juxtaposes the straight corners of rectangular windows and walls for a contrasting effect. Custom shaped windows can be operable to let in fresh air or fixed to only let in light. Adding grids to an arch window is a popular approach to improve its appearance. Grids are decorative bars that split the window glass into smaller panes. Exterior and interior grids are offered to better simulate true divided lights, while internal grids make glass cleaning easier.
